Topic: Generate STL file from a camera (?)

I'm not sure if this idea is outdated or still futuristic, but does anyone know a app/system/site that can automatically generate a STL file from a camera filming process, or maybe from a regular video file?

Google the terms photogrammetry and structure from motion.  There are a million apps out there.

Can be done with a smart phone or digital camera and about 20 exposiers.
