Topic: Printing Speed Gut Check
Just wanted a quick gut check from other Davinci owners on print times - want to make sure my print times aren't ridiculously long. Some of my prints seem to be taking far longer than it seems it takes others, and I want to verify I don't have some silly setting(s) that result in needlessly long print times. Granted, I'm printing at 0.1mm on my duo for this test, but even lower res prints seem to take me longer than other folks I'm reading about. Perhaps this is just a function of the Davinci Duo, in which case I'm cool with that.
As an example, I've attached two files. One is the STL of a test object from Make Magazine that I use as my default calibration object. The other is XML output of the Simplify3D settings for a recent calibration print I did with this object. Printing time was just over an hour, excluding setup, transfer, etc.
