Topic: Da vinci firmware hack

Hello all. I have a da vinci 1.0 with firmware version of 1.2.3 and am. Trying to find out if someone has a good way to change it. I have a mac so I'd need a guide for it. I have seen them on here but I don't want to turn this into a brick. I'm not realy good with ardwino or what ever it is and am looking for a plug and play type deal. Thanks

I have a mac as well and can help you. I may have used a linux laptop of mine when I did the first firmware flash, but I'm happy to help, since I want to reflash with a newer firmware.

I assume you are trying to replace stock with the Repetier Host firmware mod?

Yes I hate paying all the money for the carts. It's a 1.0 with the jp1 reset. It has 1.2.3 on it now and I find out that I can't use a resetter for those. So I'm ready to do this any help would be great.
