Topic: image convert from JPG to STL

I am completely new to 3D printing and trying to convert JPG image to STL for 3D printing.
Please let me know how to convert it.

You're way off buddy, to print you need a 3d data.  JPEG is 2d data and can't be converted to a 3d image.

Have a look around and read some of the stuff here and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

Actually, if you have a bunch of photos made at different angles, AutoDesk's 123d Catch can produce a crude 3D model.

You can also convert 2D images to STL files that convert shades of gray in the image to different thicknesses in a 3D print of the image.  When lit from behind it then looks a lot like the photo you started with even though the front surface is smooth and featureless.  Try this : http://www.embossify.com/  or this: http://formlabs.com/en/company/blog/201 … lithoform/

I would like to see a means of producing a 3D model from video.  If the subject is captured at different angles in the video it might be possible to construct a 3D model using a technique similar to 123D Catch.
