Topic: DaVinci constantly reboots during upload Simplify3D

I found that if I lower the baud rate to 57K it stops resetting. I thought Firmware 2.0J was supposed to have fixed this.

XYZ is not going to release a firmware that fixes an issue with third party software.  In fact based on recent evidence the latest firmware is locking you into their firmware and software even more. The most recent release keeps the printer from even talking to Simplify 3D.

The best option is to flash to Repetier firmware while we still can and then use Simplify 3D with peace of mind.

FYI I have a 1.0A machine and Simplify3D could not connect to my printer after I flashed to Repetier .92.  The only way I could connect is with Repetier Host.  That was one of the reasons why I wanted to switch back to 1.0.3, but was not able to do so.

If the 1.0 has the jumper or just the pads on the board then all you have to do is short them, turn on the power, turn it back off and the machine will be in erased mode and you can load any COMPATIBLE firmware you wish.

The issue is solved. I replaced the stock USB cable with an old good shielded one I had kicking around.
