Topic: Best filament to consumable goods

Does anyone knows which filament is best to be used on 3D printed cups, glasses, coffee mugs and things that will hold consumable goods (like water, coffee, and so on)?
ABS doesn't sound good.. Is PLA the best option?
Cheers!
