Topic: Is my gearbox about to fail?

After extruding roughly 8 kg of PLA I found that there is a dark coloured goo coming out round the output shaft.

Is this something to be worried about or is it normal?

Two images how the goo one with a few chunks I removed befort thinking about taking the photo and one with what's left on the motor.

That's just grease, nothing to worry about. There's plenty in the gearbox, but you can add more if you wish.
