Topic: Pause mode help please
When I hit pause on my davinci 1.0 I want the print head to go to the home position as I have seen in some videos. My just pauses and the head stay put? Ideas on how to fix this

When you hit pause it does exactly that (stays in place). The videos that show it going home someone homes the x and y with the buttons in RH. Keep in mind that if you don't home it after cleaning the tip it may not start back where it should.

basically you can move it however you want when its paused as long as you home the x and y before you start it. I advise you don't drop the bed though because sometimes you cannot home the z axis because the part is too high.

What software/firmware are you using for controlling the printer?

What Browning is saying is that when you push pause, the head stops in place but the motors are disengaged. So you can push it out of the way with no resistance. Then, when you start it again, it will go to where it left off and pick up again.

Nope not what I was saying, I was trying to explain the pause function for Repetier host. I am sorry I have no experience with the stock software lol I flashed mine straight out of the box to repetier firmeware.

Thanks but when I hit pause the head is locked it will not move?
