Topic: Testing objects for printability?

I created a modified simple .stl file and it didn't seem to print correctly. A lot of Y axis shifting. I tinkered  with the two main belts a little and the issue may have been the bolt not holding cling to the carriage.  I printed a cylinder today without issue. Measured near perfectly with calipers. Soon hope to reprint my modified object to see if that turns out well this time. If it has the same issues would anyone be willing to analyze the file for me? As far as I can tell it is sold and without weird artifacts.

Does the cylinder cover the same area of the bed as the one that skipped?  If there is a bent rod or something like that, you might get a Y skip that only happens at certain points along the Y axis.

Re: Testing objects for printability?

The print of the custom made object succeeded this time without issue. In general at the scale I hoped initially to print it at (maybe 0.9) it didn't cover more space than the cylinder. I printed it at .75 this time. I'm assuming the issue is resolved. However today I printed a diamond shape. The only changes I made to it were increase X and Y dimensions by like 30 and the Z to 40 to make it look more normal as well as better for overhangs. I don't know if the diamond shape was messed up from the start, but when printing it seemed to print half of the diamond on the first layer and started the other half on the second layer. Like it is octagonic but drew a skirt around 4 side and drew a line through the middle of the full diamond base. Anything weird in that file? I included the custom badge object as well.

Does anyone see anything wrong with the diamond shape?
