Topic: random thought on filament winder

I was watching PBS Antique Roadshow last night and they had a  yarn winder on there.So I went looking for one .I saw a hand crank one on Amazon.Umm I thought to myself , maybe that could be modified some to use as a filament winder.

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.
