Topic: decrease fan vibration sound?

The 4 fans on Solidoodle 4 make quite some noise. I've noticed for me at least it's mostly the fan in the back for pushing the air out of the enclosure. As I unscrew it and let it hang on its cable the overall noise greatly decreases.
is there anything I can do about this?
Maybe rubber on both sides of the frame where the 4 screws go? Will need longer screws though. Or waste of time?

Re: decrease fan vibration sound?

Buy new fans. The ones that come with the printer use junky sleeve bearings and they're noisy. I've replaced every single fan in my printer already. Much quieter. Borderline silent ... at least, until they all turn off and you realize that all fans are kinda loud... a motherboard that doesn't run the fans constantly helps too wink

I bought 8 40mm ball bearing  fans on Amazon for like $15. eBay they can be had even cheaper.
