Topic: Hello world (printf("hello world");)

Hello people.

I guess I should introduce myself before I start annoying everyone with daft questions.
I'm just getting into 3D printing but I've been reading up on CNC machines/3D printers for quite some time. My off brand dual extrusion printer arrived at my place about a week ago and so far I'm loving it (although it's not entirely without its issues).

Outside of 3D printing I'm entertaining myself with pretty much everything science and invention related. I'm a PhD. student in medicine/material science which is what most my tinkering is inspired by in one way or another.

I hope to see a lot of you all, it's nice to be here.

IMHO this is the best 3D forum around.
