Topic: Have a 3D Printer? Maximize it & make some money!

Hi 3D Printer Owners,

You probably bought a 3D printer because you are creative and you love new technology but are finding that your printer is unused most of the time.

There's a new site that allows you to change that, share your passion with a community of creators, and make money along the way.  It's called printathing.com, and we're proud to say we are now accepting suppliers.

We do all the calculations for you.  You can even choose which job you would like to supply at any time from a list of available jobs (with corresponding price points).

Join us and turn your printer and your passion into a money making business.

It's easy to get started.  Just go to printathing.com and click on "Supply".

As always, feel free to email me directly if there's a way I can help.

Sincerely,
Andy Doucette

Re: Have a 3D Printer? Maximize it & make some money!

this topic has duplicate in other subject and seems never gets reply to posts. I looked over the site (no link posted either just went to email site) not much info or true "about us" page just places to "register" either as printer or customer but no history or info on where in the world its based, how long or how many users using it. nothing worth convincing me its worth giving my personal info to as it just looks like an info harvesting site with nice page design to look official.

www.3dhubs.com is way more professional and I been member off it for a year it has over 6,000 printer hubs some with multi printers, world wide based in Amsterdam though which is restricted from some countries comerce etc due to its history. I only had 3 paid jobs since joined as it seems not well advertised in the US. so anything less of a business I have no use for.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

Hi n2ri,

Sorry for the delay - I must not have subscribed to this post like I had hoped to.

As the founder, I can assure you we're real and legit.  We're based in the US, but will soon open world wide shortly.  Feel free to give me a call if you'd like to chat.  I'd love to learn how we can exeude a more "professional" image.

It sounds like you're not getting the number of jobs you'd like from 3dhubs.  With Print a Thing, you'll be able to choose from a list of compatible jobs, on your schedule.  It's your choice if you want to join or not, but if you decide to take the plunge, we aspire to provide a supperior supplier experience.

Have a great day!

Best Regards,
Andy Doucette
