Topic: Print job failure

I have a STL file that I have downloaded, I have tried to print from a Mac OS X 10.10 and the file undergoes slicing and uploads halfway with response from printer. Then the laptop says the printer was disconnected and reconnected (no real issues with connection). I tried same file with a Windows 8 PC, the XYZ Ware fails to even slice. Lastly I try on a Windows 7 PC slicing is performed, uploading is performed (upload bar is completed) printer says "receiving job" but after the bar is complete the light flashes and print does not start. Sample print from the printer was done and worked perfectly fine but i cannot get the job to send from any computer. (I tried different STL files to check if the problem was the file, which is not the case)

Windows 8 Error:

"Generate *3W files fail!
Reasons:
a. Object slicer error or slicing incomplete
b. Unknown object slicer file type"

i had the same problem. just rebooted everything....
