Topic: Merging objects in meshlab???

http://3dprintingwizard.com/tutorial-merge-stl-files/

I found this page for merging two objects into one but am having trouble independently moving objects in meshlab so I can align them to my liking. I load one item and then I load the other and when I try to move one item only the other moves right with it. How do I move them seperately?

You'd probably be better off merging the objects in Repetier, then saving the whole thing as a STL

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...

How does one merge in Repetier and save as a new .stl?

I don't see a save option in Repetier.

Sorry for the late response.

Open up your objects in Repetier, then arrange them as you want.  When done, click "Save as STL", under the Objects Placement tab in Repetier .9xxx.  For Repetier 1.xx and newer, click the floppy disc icon on the Object Placment tab to export as either STL, OBJ or AMF.
