Topic: solidoodle shipping cost fishness

something is fishy with the shipping costs on solidoodle orders.

when they announced the preorder sale i ordered 2x press and 1x wb apprentice.

the original invoice showed 217.80 for shipping to uk
today..same order..same location 365 usd for shipping

i smell a rat

SD2 - mirror bed - e3d v6 - extruder cooling fan - no enclosure.

To be fair $217 is unrealistically low for shipping 3x 20lb printers from the US to the UK.

the second price seems more fair, but i'd threaten to cancel if they suddenly changed it on you. that's not fair, even if they do have the right to do so. how long have they been shipping printers now? they shouldn't have made an error on that.
