Topic: SD 4 and printrboard

I am assuming that the SD4 uses the Printrboard , right? I bought one to use with with my SD3. It worked for awhile then it lost the usb driver somehow. My system, win 8.1 64 bit.I have tried many times to reinstall the driver but get a Code 10 in device manager.I am looking for someone with a SD4 , maybe you can give me  some pointers.thanks in advance.

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

No answer to your question but many later SD3's came with that board as well.

i need to check that but if the printrboard use a FTDI chip for the serial-usb communication,  it's perhaps the last shady move of FTDI that bite you :

check in your configuration management if a USB component  had a yellow mark...

I got the SD4 but no matter what i try i can't get the drivers to install, it stays as unknown device under device manager and i get error code 10, what should i do?
