Topic: Re-installing the nozzle/extruder assembly

I used this printer heavily for three weeks when it stopped printing.  I removed the extruder assembly because it was covered with a mass of melted filament.  After scraping off the melted filament that unclogging the nozzle, I have spent several days trying several times to re-install the extruder assembly.  I can't seem to get it aligned properly for the lock in tabs to fall down into place.  Plugging this assembly back into place can't be that difficult, it came out reasonably easy, I get it almost in place but not quite and the filament will not feed properly unless it is exact.  I'm out of ideas, any help would be appreciated.

Re: Re-installing the nozzle/extruder assembly

If you completely disassembled it,  make sure that when you reassembled that the wires for the thermister and heater are routed properly and aren't getting pinched in the carriage. If everything is correctly aligned,  the extruder assembly almost falls into place.

I don't know what I did differently than I was doing the previous 40-50 time I tried to put the assembly back place, it "almost fell in place."  Working now, thanks.
