Topic: How to calibrate print on XY direction

Hello,
I recently bought a da vinci 1.0.
The first thing I had to do was a general calibration of the printing bed (following instructions).
Once calibrated I discovered that when I try to print round figures, they results ovalized in the X direction (looking the
printing bed the left-right direction).
This ovalisation is approximatively 5 - 8 % so absolutely not neglitable.

Does someone knows how to correct this problem??

Thanks

From what I seen on Thingiverse some of the older models had play in the pulley for the x and y axis. They have a shim that can be printed or cut from card stock to eliminate this. They said oval circles was the symptom of this play.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
