Topic: Slic3r ?

I have a da vinci printer and use sketchup for my cad have the plugin to convert to STL and want to use Slic3r to convert to gcode so I can dump the file on the SD card of the da vinci I downloaded the precompiled version of slic when I click the exe it says the app has failed to start because its side by side is incorrect what am I doing wrong is there an easier way to make my models G code so I can put it on the SD card and use it

I found this  http://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-01046/ . I don't know if it applies to all apps but might help you

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.
