Topic: .1 mm filament slip

Hello

when printing with the "old" Printerface: No problems

when printing with the "new" Repetier  : Slipping Filament

I have tried several configuragtins for the Filament screw, but it slips. Plus, even if I don't touch it,.. printing @.3 mm works just fine even if the exact same thing didn't work with Repetier (Solidoodle config). What the heck?

Re: .1 mm filament slip

Make sure you set the 75mm/s up properly...just go into eeprom firmware and under E-Speed change it from 35 (or whatever) to 75.  If that does not work you can try my idler which provides a deep bite into the filament for aggressive retractions.

Re: .1 mm filament slip

Why should I cahnge the value in the eeprom?

I'm confused,.. the printer streams the printing data from the pc right?

Isn't it enough to change the rate in the software (before slicing)... I tried that, it didn't work right.

But thanks!
