Topic: Cleaning the bed

I finally took the plunge & bought the daVinci printer .
So far, I have used the stock software & filament to print a few small objects I designed on tinkercad.
So far so good.
What is the bestway to clean the glass bed?
no problems so far with warping etc

I use a wet paper towel and let it sit a minute on the bed
and wipe away the glue.

Heat the bed to 90°C first to soften the glue. It then wipes off easy with a damp cloth.

I really like using cheap 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean the bed.  Warm water works pretty well, too, but seemed to take time and more elbow grease.  Originally, I was scraping my bed, which constantly knocked off the leveling.  Now I soak a small paper towel with isopropyl, let it sit for a few and use a razor blade to easily scrape up all the crud.  It cleans any grease and fingerprints, and I dont have to adjust the calibration nearly as often.

heating bed as when printing bakes glue stick on not soften. just rubbing alcohol then water with paper towels is how I do it too.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

when trying to clean off abs paste i use a papertowel and some acetone.  it works wonders.

Have been using the 1.0 for about a week now, glue stick seems to work well (item's are stuck on like they are nailed down when the bed is hot, they are just sitting there loose when cool).  I noticed yesterday I had a large buildup of glue though, I may be putting it on too often.  Rubbing alcohol worked well to clean it to like new in minutes, put one thin layer back on and printed perfect on next try.

Just a paper towel with warm water will clean it off or spread the glue to a uniform thickness. I only add glue to the areas I will print, consequently, after several prints, the glue build up is uneven. Usually after 2-3 prints requires cleaning.
