Topic: Update to firmware 1.2.3 Cartridge not found error

I just bought the printer last week and everything worked fine until I updated the firmware today to Version 1.2.3. I'm using the original cartridge. I tried to remove and insert the cartridge, the printer can find the cartriadge but  XYZware still can't find anything ERROR 0007.

I'm using a Mac and I can't downgrade the firmware right now. Anyone has the same problem?

Same problem here. Makes me so sad.
The printer recognizes the cartridges fine, so it seems like its a problem with the software. I tried 4 different cartridges, no luck.
I would try to downgrade the firmware, but I don't have a torx screwdriver handy.

I should never have upgraded the firmware sad

I just installed WIN on a VM and try to print. Everything works fine with the windows Client.

Thanks for the tip, I will try Windows in a VM now.

Here is a response from support:

Dear User,

We have received several complaints about the ERROR 0007. This was due to a new release of the firmware. We have updated the XYZware software to be compatible with the new firmware.

You can download the software from our website, or you can click on the About button inside the XYZware. There you can press the check update button and the software will update.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, we are constantly working on improving both the software and the firmware to have the best end result. Sometimes it creates new issues and we apologize for this.

Yep, I got a similar message back from them. And the update fixed it! I'm extremely impressed with XYZPrinting.
