Topic: Slic3r problem!!

Hello soliforum!!!
I have had my Solidoodle 2 for about a year now and have gotten back to printing some things and i have been having some problems with slic3r.  Over the past month slic3r has been getting worse for me.  It is slowing down a lot and i am tired of waiting almost an hour for it to slice.  I tried printing a grout bust, thingiverse item 167875, but it never finished slicing.  It is a simple file and I even reduced the size to half but after awhile i give up on it! Any suggestions??

make sure you have setup printer and filament profiles and selected them in Repeteir Host etc. this sounds like problems caused by simply having default settings trying to proximate what to slice for.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs
