Topic: making abs flexible after print?

I just thought about this: can an abs print be threated with something to make it flexible *after* being printed?
Reason: 1. no need to have separate rolls of flexible filament, 2. can be sanded before treatment.

you can paint stripes on a leopard but its not gonna become a Tiger. so NOPE

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

pretty much if you need tho change the materials property you need to change the material.
Although eye doctors have been using a kind of hot sand to reform adjust eye glasses for years . Hot water has been used adjust the shape of printed objects. but they will stiffen as soon as it is cooled it is thermal plastic after all.
