Topic: Good, plastic safe lubricant

Can anyone recommend a good lube for the white pulley on the x axis? I have been using white lithium grease, but it seems to dry up quite rapidly. I need something that lasts a little longer. Also, the white lithium grease seems to create a black residue, (hopefully this is not the black plastic deteriorating)

I use the white lithium as well. It turns black everywhere, on the rails, on the Z axis screw and those are spots that are never touched by plastic.

I'll just assume that the black is what it's "capturing" from the melting of the ABS that we print with off gassing. I know when you straight up burn it, or it gets stuck to the hotend that ABS turns black and I suspect that those particles are created during normal printing and it's getting stuck to the white lithium.

I have been using Moly Powder on mine and it works great.  The actual name is Molybdenum Disulfide Powder.  Since applying the Moly powder I have not had to do anything with the X-axis pulley.  Don't use it on the rods.  I don't use anything on the rods at all for lubrication.
