Topic: Building A Printer Cabinet with A Range Hood

will this work or will it cause problems with printer temps.
My Neighbor is remodeling and gave me a 36" range hood
I want to build a cabinet to put my3d printer in.
My printer is A Makerbot 2X which is an enclosed printer.
I want to build a cabinet 48" wide using fire board lined with mirrors
and use drawer rails on the bottom so i can pull the printer out for Maintence.
the filters on the range hood has a charcoal filter.
my question is. Will the range hood move to much air causing the printer chamber to cool.

Ultimaker S3.

Most range hoods have a high and low fan setting. I'm guessing you just want to move enough air to filter it. The low speed should be more than plenty to do that. If that still looks like it's moving more air than you like, pick up a cheap dimmer switch at your local hardware store and wire it into the circuit to control the fan speed.

It will only move as much air as you allow in. If you seal the enclosure completely, it will move zero air - so it's all on your build quality.
