Or even a divinci. I'd give two reprap 3d printers fully assembled for a makerbot

What printers do you have currently? There are many types of repraps.

I have a Solidoodle 2 I'd trade.

Mendel version think its an 8x8x8. I cannot get them to hook up to my computer no matter what I try. The solidoodle was incredibly hard to hook up as well. I just want something to run pla on

There are many versions of the Mendel.

If you want to run PLA, I'd recommend a j-head from hotends.com to go with the printer above.
