Topic: Best Pre-Drying Methods

What has worked for you guys? I have never need to to predry since I have been using ABS, but I am testing some TPU (got it from Revolve 3D) and I need to dry it. Thanks!

Re: Best Pre-Drying Methods

I put my TPU in a standard convection oven at 200F for 6 hours. Spread it on a cooking sheet no more then 4cm thick.

How about an electric dehumidifier in the printingroom?
I have one and have not had any problems with moisture in my filaments (nylon mostly).

I dehumidfy about 1 liter water a day there.
