We dropped MG94 for PA747 because the filament is stronger and not as glossy as MG94.
PA747 gives a matte appearance so the build layers are less visible ,looking more 'Pro", so to speak...
It helps hide the fact that it is 3D Printed.
MG94 gives Nice Shiny visible rings... so you can clearly see the layers..and know it's 3D Printed - we don't want that unless using for gears or parts that need to be smooth
We researched Polylac PA-756H before, it is a super high flow ABS, higher than MG94, but i think it affects the strength and quality because of the chemical makeup is drastically different and part of the plastic evaporates into gas causing bubbles and weak filament sometimes at our usual extrusion and printing temps. It requires cooler extrusion temps to be stable on our filastruder (not sure if others have this problem), but that means it hardens faster so any kinks become permanent faster.
