SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

There's an open source project called E-Nable that specializes in making hands for amputees. If anyone here knows PHP, they should lend them.... help.

Yes thanks for sharing.  John I will have to look into the e-Nable  web page.

There is also the robo hand project partnering with maker bot. They are setting up a large print farm for this.
and there are several similar projects on thiniverse that can be downloaded.

with the introduction of high strength durable printable plastics  like color fab xt such projects should thrive.
