Topic: Marlin Setup for Dual Extruders

Hello, I am currently building a dual extrusion 3D printer and have a few questions about the firmware setup.  I have been lurking here and found the updated marlin folder and changed the values to match my printer.  I am running a Ramps mega 1.4 for dual extrusion (34 in marlin firmware) and cant seem to get my second extruder to heat up.  I also am not really sure how to wire the fans in.  On my print head, I have four fans (2 for the hot end heat sinks, two for air cooling the parts).  This is my first printer build and my first time programming an arduino or modifying firmware so any help would be great.

Any advice?  I've been trying to work on it myself and I can get RH to identify that it has 2 extruders, however I can only control (heating up  hot end at this point in the prototype build) E0.  Ive verified the hardware is working properly because when I plug E1 into the pin spots for E0 I can control it that way.  If I were to post my modified firmware code or screenshots of what I'm seeing in RH would that be more helpful towards an answer?
