Topic: 3 of 4 corners level

I don't even know how this is possible, but I have been trying to calibrate my bed by using the paper technique. I have noticed that all corners are level but the front right. Any adjustments to the leveling screws do not seem to fix this. Is there a solution to this?

The metal tab is not flat. Try removing it, and flatten it out a bit.

I'm not using xyzwares auto leveling.. Those metal tabs don't have anything to do with it.. They haven't been touched in months.

Unless, do the metal tabs have anything to do with the leveling screws? If I loosen the nuts on the metal tabs, will the springs raise the bed at all?

short of something being bent, sprung or warped. see if your running the extruder carriage to far forward and hitting it on  the front belt pulley bolts as all Solidoodles have those bolts too long for full forward use of extruder. they should have shortened them.

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs

I don't think that is the issue with the Da Vinci 1.0 Printer.

Re: 3 of 4 corners level

It just seems strange to me that there wouldn't be FOUR leveling screws instead of 3. If there was one on each corner, this wouldn't be an issue. Three corners are perfectly aligned, but one dips down maybe .3 mm.

Re: 3 of 4 corners level

So I noticed, when looking at the edge of the glass compared to the black plastic it lays in, there is a slight less reveal of the glasses edge on the corner I am having issues with. As if the metal corner tabs are tightened too much and is pulling down the bed further on one side. Before I attempt loosening the tab on my problem corner, can anyone confirm that the glass bed is being held against the metal tabs by the force of the springs?

Re: 3 of 4 corners level

If one corder is too low, just adjust the bed leveling screws until it is level.. it shouldn't matter if the glass sits lower on one corner, that's why the bed leveling screws are there...

Ditch the stock calibrating method, and do a manual leveling.. this will solve the issue..

And the reason why there is not 4 leveling screws, is because the 3 screw method is much easier to use, but there is a technique to it.

When you adjust the back left corner, it also effects the front right corner, and vise versa.

If the front-right corner is too low, lower the rear-left corner, and the front-right corner will raise.

Remember, adjusting one corner, affects the opposite corner as well.
