Topic: Repetier Host 1.0.0 & Slic3r speed issues

I recently downloaded the latest version of Repetier Host (1.0.0) and I seem to be having trouble with parameter speeds when i'm using Slic3r (Cura works fine). For some reason my Solidoodle seems to print the parameters really slow and changing the speed values doesn't do anything at all (changing the values for travel, infill, etc does work however).

Just wondering if any of you guys would have any suggestions or have experienced any similar issues, Thanks.

Check the "automatic cooling" feature under the filament-cooling tab is off.
That was my first derp with the new version.

This is a crowd funding thing that I'm running: http://www.gofundme.com/bvi140 It's for pretty selfish reasons tongue

Re: Repetier Host 1.0.0 & Slic3r speed issues

what I found and it also makes slic3r do long prints or fail slice. when in slicer tab in RH (new or old) check the 'filament settings pull down menu and select which material your using, if left on default it wont even slice if you set extruder and bed temps lower than ABS limits on new RH. old RH will slice but print will take 2x longer. learned this too in the school of hard knocks as most SD troubles are discovered. I never leave default checked in settings thats just how they install. seems default is ABS not PLA
