Topic: Error when I click print. Not in the printer but on my computer.

When I click print from the standard software I get a crash report from windows that looks like this.
Problem signature:

Does anyone know what is happening here? I have 8gb ram and an intel core i7 so i don't see why this program would crash my computer. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

Have you installed the modified software to upload g code from xyzware?

Waternut13134; No I haven't tried that, I didn't know such code was necessary. Do you have a good link I can check out?

I'll have to find it, I didn't know if that could be causing your problem. Try uninstalling xyzware and use ccleaner and clean the registry files then try reinstalling the program. Report back and see if that helps.

Actually turns out I can only print demo documents and not the one's i downloaded from the xyzprints website even after "repairing" with Microsoft's online service.

Thetitanturner: I got the same problem and finally i downloaded the last version of XYZWARE from the official site and now I am able to print anything, including Thingiverse and others STL.

I uploaded XYZware_1.1.30.16.exe and it was successfully able to print the .stl document without crashing. Good thing too i was about to hack the SD card and import custom G-Code... risky (lol) *puts down dremel*
