Topic: Having a bit of a weird issue with Repetier connection...

I began having a really weird problem today.  Ordinarily when I connect to my SD3, I connect using COM6.  When I went to connect today, I got the message "4 commands waiting." Ordinarily I would think that I should just plug it into a different com port, but then I noticed that I was still getting a pretty accurate temperature reading.  This was the same when I plugged it into any of the other three USB ports on my machine.  Any thoughts?

This will happen if it is still processing previous commands.  For example, if I hit the home button and then the extrude button, it will say 1 command waiting until it finishes homing.  Then the extrude command will execute and the message will go away.   Could it be something that simple in your case?

No, this is as soon as I hit connect.  I'll hit connect, it'll make whatever sound it makes when it connects, and it will say "4 commands waiting," but I'll still be able to get temperature readings from both the bed and the extruder.

It may sound stupid, but reboot your computer and then try it.  If that doesn't work, delete repetier and reload it.  make sure you have all of your settings written down first.
