Topic: Bare Bones Basic Printer

So... check out this Kickstarter.   What do you guys think?  If it is as nice as described $500 gets you their deluxe edition...

1.) Printrbot Simple is a proven design, has a big community, and is $75 less.
2.) Printrbot Metal is a proven design, has a big community, and is only $50 more.
3.) Looks an awful lot like a knockoff J-head hot end.
4.) No independent reviews, no quality photos of printed parts.

Not a good choice, for the reasons above and many more.

I can't speak for the printer, but their office is the most wooden thing I have ever seen! I think Al Gore must have seen something like that in his nightmares : )
