Topic: infill... support.. overhang.... i have no idea the problem!!
so i have no idea why i am getting the result in Pictures 1 & 2....
What i am looking for is a hollow "bowl" like piece.... or a funky hat if you turn it 180 degrees ![]()
Anyway.. i keep getting this "infill" or "support" which is creating a core that is allowing for punching out the top of the piece. as you can see in the pictures. The end result i would like is a nice print with no core and support...length of time to print this is of no concern.. so any advice would be great.. i have included the STL file for your review...i would like my print to look like the STL as much as possible...must be able to hold water if used as a "bowl" (i think this is called Manifold)(see im learning something from reading these forums!!) Can you help? i sure hope so..
PS: these renders were done using 1.75mm PLA at .3mm resolution and using the Stock Solidoodle 2 Pro.
Software: Slicer downloaded from this website as of 1 week ago.
PPS: I'm a noob.. so please speak to me as if i have no clue what i am doing
Thank you!!
