I'm the new web dev Solidoodler, and I thought I'd just post here to let people know that I've done a few minor tweaks to solidoodles.com in preparation for an incoming redesign. The site should be more stable and a bit prettier! Let me know what you think!

Fix the text above the parts so that it is actually visible...nobody wants to read 6pt font.
Fixing that as we speak, and replacing the carousel on the home page right at this moment, expect to see it live on the site any minute now.
Okay, it's live now! (though the newsbar text is still a tad small, I'll push my fix for that after I get back from lunch).

Done! that text is far bigger now, though I still need to ellipsis up the text overflow, but those model names should now be much more readable. Thanks for the feedback, it really helps!

I like that a lot better but you might consider either limiting the # of characters you can enter or have the text scroll if the name is larger than what can be displayed.
Yeah, currently the titles for the news posts get limited but the titles of the models doesn't, this is what I'm going to fix right now. Thanks for the feedback!
Titles of doodles now get ellipsis'd up all nice and good. Enjoy!
You might want to double check your layout display in Firefox. The main banner with the bus and sheep seems to be cut off on the right side.
I also just loaded it in Safari on my iPad and the login link is not visible.

Comments are now all ajax'd up nice and good, and I'm now working on the picture deleting!
Pictures can now be removed from a doodle.
Multi-part models can now be uploaded to solidoodles.com.
