Relatively new to 3D printing, been doing 3D modeling and animation for film and commercial use for years.
Just ordered my Solidoodle 4 about 20 minutes ago.. Cant wait to get it and play with it!

How long have they been taking to get them out? The website says they're shipping in 1 week.. is that pretty accurate?

Seems SD4s are taking a bit longer than other models; maybe due to high demand.
