Topic: Help with adhesion

Curious what types of glue/ adhesion products do you guys use for different materials? I am trying to glue a piece of wood to plastic im trying with wood glue first cause I figured it wouldnt hurt

I only print ABS, so acrylic cement is what I use.  For other things like wood to plastic I would recommend epoxy.

To print or, 3D print, that is the question...
SD3 printer w/too many mods,  Printrbot Simple Maker Ed.,  FormLabs Form 1+
AnyCubic Photon, Shining 3D EinScan-S & Atlas 3D scanners...
...and too much time on my hands.

yeah I didnt have any around tried some wood glue just to see figured it wouldnt hurt anything and well it worked really well actually I have a pick up screwed to the piece of wood and I can shake it turn it upside down with no problems

Gorilla Glue also works well with different material types, but will expand a lot if not restrained.

SD2 Expert stock, ABS fume fan,

wood glue only lasted a couple days fell apart on me today could have been from the cold too though going to try fase 2

There's no substitute for a epoxy.
