Make sure you have your first layer printing more slowly than the other layers. A fast first layer= less effective ABS sticking. Also try raising your temperature a little bit. I usually print at 227 with my E3D and natural abs.
ok thanks I'll try that. Got some pla coming tomrrow , I'll see how that does.

What I was getting at was it looks as though your hot end may be moving around slightly in the MK-5. Make sure it can't wiggle around.
It's tight. I tried your suggetion about slowing down 1st layer, that seemed really help.I printed a 16 layer test square, no curling. Now to print a real part.

So how did it fit your bearings?
The bearings fit ok .
update: I got the PLA, I printed new carriage ends with it , came out perfectly flat ,no curling at all.

Just be aware that PLA will start to soften at >60°C .. so you'll want to make sure the hotend does not radiate heat to the carriage at all or it will start deforming
Thanks.I'll probably try to print them in ABS , I had a makeshift enclosure up to 136F about 57C this morning. Gonna make a better enclosure tomorow.(draped a mylar survival blanket over the printer)
