Topic: (Beta) SoliCapture - Make timelapses of your print!
Hello.
I got bored the other day and found a webcamera that i wanted to put into my printer, so i could see what it was doing.
After that was done, i wanted to make time lapses of the things i printed, but i didn't want to sit there and take screenshot every X second, so i made a program that did all that for me.
It's name is SoliCapture (yes, im bad at making new names..). It is a very early build, but i do need help to sort out the bugs and maybe you guys could give me more ideas to improve the program.
It Requires Windows and Net Framework 3.5 Pack. It got compiled on a Windows 7 system, so i'm not sure if it will work on Windows XP, please give it a try if you are able too ![]()
Creating this application was fairly easy, the timeconsuming part is to hide all the errors and make it smooth for the end users.. :-)

You got 3 options. Webcam, IP Camera and 'Select Screen Area'.
If Webcam or IP Cam doesnt work for you, you can use "Select Screen Area", if you got other Webcam application\drivers that can capture your webcam, you can use this option to capture that window.

I also made a Chat window, so people that don't use IRC can chat from this window to some of us Solidoodlers ![]()

Please note: This program only create images, no movies! So in order to compile all these images to a "timelapse movie", you need to use "VideoMach" or similar. You can download it for free here:

If you do want to give it a try, feel free to do so!
