Topic: New Frontier

Hi everyone. I packed my life in a suzuki and treked across the country to start a little closed loop 3d print shop. I got $2700 and a 40 year old brain full of gizmo designs. I'll be starting with a flashforge, filastruder & blender software. I want to help my home town community be more responsable with there consumption of products. I feel(hope) the days of mass consumption are coming to an end. I am excited to be a part of something that WILL change the world for the better. I'm gonna need alotta help, but I'm willin to give all I can.
Any info or links to ways of grinding (recycling everyday plastics) would be a great start.

Re: New Frontier

Welcome to the forums!  IanJohnson is working on a pelletizer for old filastruder filament which is unusable for one reason or another here: http://www.soliforum.com/topic/5159/fil … elletizer/.  Most people say that recycling everyday plastics for 3d printing would be very hard, but I can't remember why.  I'm sure there is an answer somewhere in the filastruder section of the forum (http://www.soliforum.com/forum/18/filastruder/).
