Topic: WTB empty SD filament spools

I bought 4 rolls of filament from matterhackers.com and the spools are the wrong size, the hole is too small to fit onto the SD3 spool holder (the one that comes with the SD3).. I am looking for empty spools that will fit perfectly onto it. I think the diameter of the SD3 spool holder pipe is 1 inch

I actually ended up drilling with a hole saw biggers holes on these spools that I have but it is not an even cut and the spools flop around when it's printing.

make an offer...

My SD3:  Clear plexiglass case, case heater, X axis stabilizer, Z axis stabilizer, thumb screws, filament guide, heatsinks on all motors, extruder fan, controller fan, heatsinks on motherboard, Y rod pillow block, USB and Power on/off switch, fully calibrated including trimpot tuning. Am I missing anything?

How about drilling hole oversize, then print washer/adapter to fasten on the sides of the reels.

I thought about that but I'm currently having circle problems and I think if I did that it will still end up wobbling from not being round enough.
