Topic: extruder losing heat

Hello Everyone,

Any idea what is the cause of this?

Running Octoprint with a SD 3 Printrboard.

Is it a firmware or software issue?

Looks like a bad connection to heater on extruder.

I guess an odd question. Does the polarity  really matter for the extruder heater? I  am going to install a 12v 40w cartridge heater.

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

Polarity does not matter.
