Topic: Denver, CO

Hello All!

I have been working with 3-D printers since 2003 (Dimension and Zcorp).

My company just bought me a solidoodle last week and I am looking forward to seeing what it can do.

I consider myself an expert in 3-D CAD and I hope to contribute where I can.

Welcome to the community!

With your skill set, it seems like you will defiantly be an asset here.

Do you have some videos or photos of your zcorp printers? Those are some serious machines.

Unfortunately I haven’t worked on a zcorp printer for about 3.5 years and I don’t think I have any pictures of the one I was using at the time.

If you haven’t ever seen one then check out this video:

It was quite the machine to have the privilege to work with.  I think at the time we had bought ours for around 40 thousand or so.

Awesome. I have seen some videos online, but never in person.

The thing you will enjoy about the solidoodle is the low cost of printing and ownership, I know with the commercial printers the material can cost a lot.
