I have had my Solidoodle 3 now for a couple months and think I made a great choice so far. I have done lots of mods but still have a few more to catch up to the rest of you.  This seems like a great community. Hope to learn a lot here.

SD3 w/ mods:
Glass bed with QU-BD heat pad upgrade, threadless ballscrew w/ 8mm smooth rod, spectra line belt replacement, lawsy MK5 extruder, Lawsy replacement carriage, E3D hotend, Ramps 1.4 w/ reprap discount controller, DRV8825 drivers, 12v 30A PS, Acrylic case, Overkill Y-idlers, Filament alarm, Extruder fan + more.

I've seen your many posts and can't believe nobody welcomed you.  Well I'm new here from Fredericsburg ,va. WELCOME.  Do you know anybody close who has a 3d printer?  E-mail [email protected] I don't know what happened with that but that's my email.

smile I didn't notice. Thanks for pointing out that no one gave me any love. lol

I have had some messages from a few people in the DMV area with printers. I only know one other person with a printer though.

Welcome to the forums. I think you will find lots of useful info here for getting started. If you are feeling brave, venture over to the hacks and mods section for some nice upgrades.
