Topic: Iron man Helmet stand

My first real design, it's a stand for my Iron man helmet, left some area open to add some LEDs to it looks like the pad from Tony Stark's basement.  Printing the second half right now.  Heres the link to the STL because it was to big to attache here. dropbox(dot)com/s/haurlv68csvfiqa/half%20Helmet%20stand.stl

Finally got around to putting it all together, painting and wiring it up  What you guys think?

I'm working on printing a new one but I've got a fiberglass one that I've been working on with electronics (Sound, servos, lights, camera, and a hud) but that's still a little ways off because I just fried some of the circuits, Reversing polarity is bad :-(. but that will have to wait until I get to Alaska. here are some pics though.

Nice!  I wanted one of Ryan's hinge setups too, but couldn't justify the price.  I finished printing this little guy out earlier today, and I sanded/puttied/primed it tonight.  I'll hit it with some more spot putty tomorrow and another round of sanding/priming

Lol thats a cool little guy, the one I'm printed unfortunately is WAY to big but it will make a nice display.  I did get Ryan's setup but ended up breaking it and decided I could make something a little better so I get it a go and printed the black one that is in there now. I'll post some pics up when I finish my big helmet :-)
