Topic: 123D Catch issue - trouble downloading stl file

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me resolve an issue with 123D Catch. I used the app to take pictures and produce a 3D model, and then tried to download the .stl file to my computer so I can use it in CAD. However, I can't open the file. It's called a "viewable" and when I click on it, it says "This file is invalid for use as the following: Certificate Trust List."

Any advice or help would be extremely appreciated!! Thank you!!

Just open it from within whatever program you are using to edit it rather than double clicking it.

That doesn't work because it's somehow not actually an stl file, so the program (Maya or Autocad Inventor) doesn't even recognize it.

How are you 'saving' your stl file from 123D? are you exporting it?

The 'certificate trust list' error usually refers to windows having the file extension 'stl' associated with it's trust list files... normally you would just reassociate it with 3D programs ie... meshmixer...

I'm still lost . I can't figure it out

I put in cammand promt

assoc.stl=STLFile

Still nothing

I export it as Binary and the other one , it still has that trust pop up
